Is TBT still a thing? Well, here’s a throwback: Is TBT still a thing? Well, here’s a throwback: one of my early jobs in Huntsville was this one at a Kids Expo Event around 2015 or 2016. Guess how many clients I got from it? None. 🙃 Starting over was tough. I knocked on many doors and faced lots of “No’s.” But the real kicker was when I encountered a scam situation (not related to this event). Later, I received a request from a woman who claimed to be well-known in the city back then. She asked for a huge balloon decor for her event, promising me exposure in return. I trusted her and agreed to her proposal. However, once the event was over, she never fulfilled her end of the deal. The promised exposure and promotion never materialized. She took advantage of me, maybe because I was new in the city and needed to get my business name out there. It was a hard lesson learned, but it taught me a valuable insight. But you know what? Despite the setbacks, things turned around. New opportunities opened up 🚪, and many amazing people believed in my talent 🎈. Starting from scratch is never easy, but it becomes truly worthwhile when you refuse to give up. 🙏🏼
